About Mr. Moon
A dream without order...
Have you ever dreamed of a show without order? Without borders? Something completely new, but that you’ve already seen? A show that brings together clowns, musicians, a diva, a puppeteer, and too many ringmasters?
It’s been a year since Mr Moon started playing to audiences around the world, and he is still travelling and seeking new adventures. This family, this band, this group of artists and freaks began touring Europe, playing at festivals, in town squares, and on street corners, before travelling to Mexico to bring their show to the country’s restaurants, cabarets, mezcal bars and theatres. Mr Moon’s journey will take you from one extreme to the other: from laughter to tears, from doubt to love, from politics to poetry.
Mr Moon was developed in 2019 by Snowapple. The collective wanted to create a show that could be
performed in unexpected places, reach unexpected audiences, and bring together the most bold and talented artists.

Our story is human: that of a company built on the road, brought together through unexpected meetings, personal tragedy and destiny. Who are we?
Are we musicians? Storytellers? Are we just plain crazy? Why does nothing we say seem credible? And above all, why do we continue to play?
We’ve travelled for 200 years, bound to one another, storytellers from another time. We are strays who were picked up, lost souls who were found, people who lived in the shadows from the very beginning. Belonging to neither today nor yesterday, we wander from one scene to another. We are The Lost Children.
We travel from city to city telling our stories, asking questions, giving answers. When we travel, it’s not through choice, it’s just our truth. Our stories are often unwanted – in each city we’ve encountered our share of hostility. We’re the ones telling people: our society is sick. The ones who search for answers and ask uncomfortable questions.
We are jesters, preachers, liars and poets who have seen too much. You’ll tolerate us for an hour, maybe, for an evening at most, but you’re unlikely to tolerate our madness, our vulgarity and our indignation for much longer.
So let’s laugh at brave Mr Moon, because tomorrow he’ll be gone again, and you’ll be able to get on with your life. It will feel like waking up from a dream – neither beautiful nor bad, just a little disturbing.
