About The Event
On June 6th, 2022 Snowapple and Moon Cabaret will release Hechizo Evil Wizard, a unique collaboration with Banda Regional Femenil Mujeres del Viento Florido, a regional women's band of 40 women in the state of Oaxaca. The official release will occur digitally worldwide and in-person at Cineteca Naccional in Mexico City.
In 2021 a group of traveling artists from Snowapple and Moon Cabaret arrived to the magical mountains of Tlahuitoltepec and met Las Mujeres del Viento Florido. Together, through a mystic and musical journey, they vowed the strings of art, feminism, and collective creation.
The video for Hechizo Evil Wizard will be available on Snowapple and Moon Cabaret’s Youtube and social media channels on June 7th, 2022. The video was shot and edited by Julia Louisa Hollander.
